Dell introduces Alienware M11x 11.6 inch LAPTOP
Dell M11x is a 11.6-inch gaming laptop today that have begun a series of sites that are branded on like Alienware netbook. It’s not. It is a thin and lightweight machine with a low-power processor, high-performance graphics and a price of “under $ 1,000.
I am willing to stretch the definition of the netbook, to laptops, which contain 11 or 12 inch screens. As for me is the crux of the netbooks that they are portable and cheap. Three years ago you could not find a laptop with a 11.6 “display for under $ 500. Now you can have a great deal. But while $ 1000 is certainly a great price for a gaming laptop, it is not cheap . I think the last time I had was $ 1000 on each computer in 1994.
Anyway, if you’re still interested, grabs the Aliernware M11x a low-power Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, Intel 335M graphics with 1GB of dedicated graphics memory and a 11.6 inches, 1366 x 768 pixel display. Call of Duty 4, it can play at 30fps in 720p.
The notebook weighs about 4 pounds, which is pretty hard for a subnotebook. It is approximately 6.5 hours of battery life under normal use, but only about 2 hours if you do hardcore gaming.
