Dell has launched the Latitude XT2 XFR, a robust version of the XT2 12.1-inch Tablet PC.

Dell Latitude XT2 says the XFR independentlyverified been taken to military (MIL-STD-810G) and IP54 (Ingress Protection) standards for operating in extreme conditions including drops of up to 3 meters. The 12.1-inch screen is readable outdoors and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Together with tactile and multi-touch screen supports digital pen input.
Which includes the core components of the XT2 XFR, the Intel Core Duo SU9600 ULV 1.6 GHz processor with vPro technology, up to 5GB of DDR3 memory, up to 128 GB solid state drive or up to 160 GB hard drive, Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated GPU wireless LAN, a Gigabit Ethernet port, optional mobile broadband connectivity, Bluetooth, a speaker, a microphone, optional hot-swap 2MP camera or GPS dedicated, three USB ports, ExpressCard and SD card slots, a Smart Card reader, a FireWire port, a VGA output, a fingerprint reader and TPM 1.2.
The Tablet PC starts at 5.4lbs and comes with a 4-, 6- or 9-cell battery.
