
This is just a quick update to confirm that the sale of the Verizon gateway LT2016u netbook from Sunday, 4 Begin October. Earlier this week, caught a document leaked to Engadget with all the details. But Verizon went and did it today with an official press release.
The gateway is basically a renamed LT2016u Acer Aspire One D250. The notebook has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard dive, and a 6-cell battery. It runs Windows XP Home and has 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and 3G modem for connecting to Verizon Wireless Broadband service.
