
Lenovo, the IdeaPad U550 15.6-inch thin and light notebook is launched, based on Intel’s Ultra Low Voltage processor and Windows 7 operating system.
The multimedia-oriented U550 starts 5.3lbs and is integrated into 1 “thin. The first models with Intel Core 2 Duo ULV CPUs at 1.4 GHz or 1.3 GHz, Intel GMA 4500MHD or ATI Radeon HD 4330 512 MB dedicated video memory , 3 GB or 4 GB of DDR3 memory, a 250 GB or 320 GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and a six-cell battery to have “up to 6 hours’ run time. According to a product page at Lenovo.com the 15 , 6 “display with a resolution of 1366 768 pixels and LED backlighting used.
IdeaPad U550 offers a model on the official website of Lenovo has a 1.3MP web camera, a multi-touch trackpad, Dolby surround sound, WiFi and WiMAX wireless-N connectivity, Bluetooth, an HDMI port and a Fingerprint Reader.
It is therefore expected to dispatch on 22 October.
