
Following the announcement of Amazon Kindle software for Windows users, the company has acknowledged that it also works to offer a Mac version to Fast Company. Although the speaker does not specific details about the Mac offers application that allows the PC version users purchase, download and read content from the Kindle store.
The software will synchronize with the Kindle or Kindle DX devices, so that bookmarks and the progress information is updated automatically. Users can also view notes and highlights, which was marked on the standalone reader.
The PC version supports Windows 7 multi-touch controls, such as anti-pinch protection for zoom and swipe reader for page turns. It is unclear whether the same functionality will be extended to a Mac.
Kindle for the PC is expected to be completed next month, although the company still known to download at a time frame for the Mac.
