Lenovo claims that this is the most powerful laptop with a Core i7 inside.
The 15.6-inch system incorporates a 1366 768 HD display and the possibility for the inclusion of a Blu-ray drive. Although we often find missing laptop speakers, is the promise of an integrated subwoofer amazing how the auto-theater quality audio video enhancement.
The 6.1 pound, 15.2 x 10.0 x 1.5-inch system is very similar to the aesthetically impressive IdeaPad Y450. The keyboard and touchpad view unchanged, but there is an addition to the deck: a touch-sensitive slider. SlideNav was developed to users in navigating, documents and links, blending unobtrusively into the deck when not in use. The Y550P come with Windows 7, Home Premium, including the Lenovo Enhanced Experience. Lenovo and Microsoft worked together to launch a series of features, tools and enhancements for Windows 7 that promises to bring selected IdeaPad laptops to shut down more quickly and make maintenance easy and deliver richer entertainment and graphics. Faster boot times are always welcome, and we are definitely excited to hear the alleged difference in the audio.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P should be available to consumers in mid-November.
