The TRC ElectraShield in-line notebook surge protector

Surge protectors are usually something that all of us have on our home computer, but leaves behind when traveling. Mostly because even the travel opportunities are great and pain for use with notebooks. TRC seemed to have solved that problem with the ElectraShield.

This little guy is in-line on the power supply and protects the computer from voltage spikes attached, brown-outs and power spikes. Who knows how well it works, but I think it is probably in the “it’s-better-than-nothing” category. At $ 9.99 and in both two-and three-pin, travelers want to pick up in May, just in case.
