The new Japanese Hello Kitty branded laptop is actually a perfect gift for your daughter. True to its name, the latest hi Kitty branded machine is a standard notebook computer with a beautiful design, which would certainly appeal to girls.

The notebook offers Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, DVD burner, 15.4 “widescreen display (1,280 x800 resolution), 5x USB ports, wireless, media card reader, TPM 1.2 Security chip, and Windows Vista.

It is now also available in the Japanese market.

Acer's Dual-boot Android & XP Netbook May Be Available Soon

Much talked about “dual-OS” Netbook Acer is expected to be as early as August 2009.

While you may not be in a position, your hands on Netbook OS with Chrome anytime soon, there’s a good chance to see Android Netbook later this year. Acer is expected to ship Android-based Netbook from next month.

According to reports, this Acer Netbook with Android will also have a dual-boot option to load Windows XP – both operating systems come factory installed. Sun, Acer still have to pay Microsoft for the Windows XP license, and it is your chance to see affordable Netbook. Microsoft charges about. $ 25 for each Windows XP license on Netbook.

In related news, both ASUS & MSI develop Android-based Netbook but reported to have no intention of releasing them in 2009.
