GPGPU Technology and the ATI Radeon 4670 arrives on the Studio XPS 16

The Dell Studio XPS 16 is one of the better entertainment notebooks around these days, and it has recently improved, thanks to the inclusion of a new graphics option in the form of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 1GB, as long as you are ready to drop another Benjamin for the entire purchase price.

With such a powerful graphics card for notebooks, you can definitely bring your games with you even if you do well to keep a watchful eye for sockets. Moreover, GPGPU technology enables software specifically for the GPU repurpose for other parallel processing tasks traditionally used by the CPU.

Basically, how do you do more work in a given period, eg on a Word document, while GPGPU technology works quietly in the background on the other processor-intensive activities such as media encoding, dealing with natural interface like facial movements and gestures, and ILK.
