11.6-Inch Acer Aspire One A0751h

Although it seems that Acer is planning reports on pulling back its 11 6 inch Aspire One for a timeline of the new series, the company has confirmed that the larger than average 10-inch Netbook will be for sale in the U.S. before the end of the month.According to Acer, the 11.6-inch Aspire WalMart is now (even if it is not at Walmart.com). There will also be sold at Amazon, Target.com, Shopko and Office Max from 14 June, Radio Shack on June 15, J & R-and PC Richard, 21 June and on 28 Staples June.

Digitimes reports that the company Taiwense planning a 11.6-inch device in the series timeline, which will replace the A0751h or “a clear boundary between the two product lines.” Either way, we have not verified, the 11.6-system or not, it would make sense to replace the weak 1.2 GHz Atom Z520 CPU replaced with an Intel Atom or N-series CULV processor.

Intel Launches New Laptop Processors

Intel has announced four new notebook processors – High-performance with Intel Core 2 Duo T9900, P9700 and P8800, and the ultra-low voltage Pentium SU2700.The Core 2 Duo T9900 with a TDP of 35 watts running at 3.06GHz and 6MB L2 cache, whereas the 25W P9700 and P8800 are clocked at 2.83GHz and 2.66 are. The P9700 has 6MB of L2 cache, while the P8800 has 3MB. All three CPUs have 1066MHz front-side bus and are designed for use in standard-size Centrino 2 notebooks.

On the other hand, the new Intel Pentium ULV SU2700 single-core processor with a 10W TDP, the affordable ultra-thin laptops. The SU2700 with a core clock frequency of 1.3 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache and a 800 MHz FSB.

It also announced the Intel Mobile Intel GS40 Express chipset for the new ULV-based notebooks. The new chipset has a hardware decoder for HD video, Windows Vista Premium support and native support for the integrated HDMI.
