Sony VAIO P Gets Windows XP

I was impressed with the Sony VAIO P, if I played with it, but I always want it with Windows XP instead of Vista. The performance was not well with Vista, and my experience with other similarly equipped notebooks with XP I had the desire for this option.Sony has a special focus for this kind of longing, and the word is that Windows XP will soon be a configuration option for the purchase of a VAIO p. This comes at a price, as Microsoft’s rules for the marketing of XP on notebooks limited memory allows up to 1 GB. This is crazy, but it is what it is like for OEMs that want XP on notebooks. Sony is not the only OEM for this restriction, you can use the HP Mini 1000 with 2 GB of RAM with Linux installed, but only 1 GB with XP. How not, your Best Foot Forward for Microsoft.

More good news from Sony regarding the VAIO P – it is a new 2-GHz processor option and a 256 GB SSD, but I can only shudder to think how much will cost. These new options will be in Japan and hopefully over the waters in Europe and the U.S.
