Dell Leaves Gaming to Alienware, Launches M17x

Dell has been the promotion of two lines of gaming notebooks, since it acquired Alienware. But things are changing certain that with the introduction of Alienware M17x. The Alienware M17x is to be sold directly by Dell and the XPS line is not more to gamers.The Alienware M17x is clearly a high-end gaming notebook, but still within reach at $ 1799 The base model is equipped with a 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX260M GPU, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz processor P8600, 250GB hard drive, 4 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with hybrid power. A slot-loading DVD burner and a 9-cell battery are also included.

Serious players will flaunt some of the M17x’s high-end options like a Core 2 Extreme quad-core processor, 8 GB RAM, 512GB SSD and dual GeForce GPUs GTX260M.
