
RUGGEDBOOK, which around these parts for their hard slate tablets, has updated the SR series with the announcement of the SR820.
Oriented to the vertical market, with the SR820 comes with a variety of industry-centric options, such as a barcode reader, full specifications MIL-in WWAN, GPS, 2.0MP camera, during and curious with Netbook-esque specifications. The last time we reported on RUGGEDBOOK, give us the Lent SR668, whose poor performance outdoor screen we want more. With the new LED backlight 8.9-inch display with a “sunlight readable” option, hopefully this problem has been resolved. The battery life has also been extended to 7 hours on the included battery, which almost all day computing.
