OCZ Introduces Mini PCI-E SSDs for Netbooks

OCZ has its first mini-PCI-e Solid State Drives for Netbook. These SSDs are at an affordable flash memory option for low-cost ultra-portable systems.

OCZ offers Mini PCI-E SSDs in both PATA and SATA interfaces. Notebook upgrades can choose either the SATA version, a fast 110 MB s read and 51 MB s write speed, or upgrade the PATA, which is a maximum of 45MB sec read and 35MB sec write speeds. Compaitble with PC & Mac, OCZ Mini-PCI-E SSDs in capacities of 16 GB and 32 GB.

Is Palm bringing the Foleo Back?

For those who can remember, from the Palm Foleo a long time before the mini-laptop on the stage, these hand held devices offered grabs the user with a full QWERTY keyboard. The only difference was that the Foleo had to connect to the Palm phone to be connected.

It seems that the Palm Foleo, but this time there will be a separate device that is capable, in conjunction with the Internet, without the need for an external device. Currently this is only a rumor, but it would be a logical next step from Palm if they want o in cash to a very lucrative market.

Two new USB switches are outed by Elecom. The USB Hub Sports 2 – and 7-USB ports.

The USB hub let their users exchange of two to sevenUSB devices with two PC’s withoiut the necessity of installing a private network.

Its as easy as plug and play, really. The Elecom USB hubs are already in Japan.
