MSI Wind Top AE1900 gets opened up

Photos of the MSI Wind AE1900 Top all-in-one nettop touchscreen prototype emerged, with the PC without his rear housing. Of interest to all its nettop Modding light, the pictures show a somewhat messy setup only a few areas that should be addressed.Whereas we are for the All-in-one machine as an extension of no-go areas, the wind Top AE1900 at least a couple of places that you obviously could. The hard disk can easily be replaced, how can the optical drive, you should prefer a slim Blu-ray device to the DVD burner fitted as standard.

There are also some more in-depth modifications possible for these, with their dirty soldering iron. Since the images in the gallery stated, MSI have on the left head-AE1900′s motherboard without real connections with two PS 2 ports, the USB ports in the lower left corner, and two more RAM slots (MSI Wind soldered the top there’s 1GB of RAM) and an RJ11 connector. Whether it is possible to add these components into a 230 1.6 GHz Atom nettop is in the eye of the beholder.

Otherwise, the specifications of what we have heard so far: an LED backlight, 200-nit to WXGA display with 1366 x 768 resolution, built-in Wi-Fi b g and optional Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and triband UMTS HSPA WWAN.
