Sharp Mebius netbook comes with two screens

Just before Apple announced the latest line of MacBooks, there was a lot of speculation about what a glass trackpad can bring to the machines. There were pictures of mock MacBooks with a second screen and not as a trackpad, with the second screen of the host bank charges. These rumors have proven to be obviously wrong, but the idea is still alive, just not on a MacBook.

Sharp’s new Netbook, Mebius PC-NJ70A, has just the idea behind it. Rather than a trackpad, it is involved, 854 x 480 LCD display on the palm rest. The screen can be any number of widgets, including an equalizer, you can use your fingers, a calculator and a notepad. There are probably other widgets for the smaller screen as well. The touchscreen has a built-in ambient light detector and adjusts the brightness according to how much brighter the environment.

The small touch-screen, while the standard Netbook otherwise quite expensive with an estimated $ 817 U.S. Dollar, is a big step forward. Netbook screens, even at 10 inches are usually much too small for some people, and with an additional 4 inch screen, very useful. Most of the widgets on the touch screen is very likely small applications, the only pain to have to in Windows anyway. Instead of searching for the calculator app, there is the right of the screen, the same with Notepad. So if it is perhaps not the standard be any time soon, Sharp Dual shielded Netbook is a great insight into those notebooks in the rule could soon move.
