Toshiba Dynabook UX netbook

NB100 8.9-inch Netbook with 10.1-inch Dynabook UX. The LED backlighting of the screen is bumped up to 10.1 cm, if the native resolution remains unchanged at 1024×600, the Pitch button is now 19mm and comes with a “Chiclete” design that significantly improves the feel.

Besides the much sleek design, but also in the slightly faster 1.66GHz Atom N280 and an improved system bus. Otherwise, the data are in other Netbook and 1 GB of RAM and 160 GB hard drive with preinstalled Windows XP Home Edition. Users can now charge via USB accessory port, even if the Netbook off. There are three USB ports, Wi-Fi and SDHC and MMC card slot with a 3-megapixel camera. An English-to-Japanese and four Korean dictionaries are integrated into the Netbook as well.

Although they are not yet listed, Toshiba offers about 10 options for the Dynabook UX, with most of them from batteries. The standard battery is 4 hours, and the entire package equipped tips the scales at 2.93lbs.

It will be in Japan on 24 April. Color choices are snow white and brown satin

Skytone Announces Android Netbook/Tablet

We are waiting for gadgets like this to appear. The Netbook Tablet in the image of Skytone, and it runs on an Android-based operating system.

Inside there is a 533 MHz ARM processor, a 7-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen, 128 MB RAM, 1 GB of memory, an SD card slot for additional storage, and 3G connectivity. The Netbook is called alpha-680 and it could cost less than U.S. $ 100 when it released. Would not you rather pay a little more for a bump in specs?

Regardless of whether the alpha-680 will be successful or not, we await further Android-based Netbook in the near future.
