Dell updates Vostro notebooks

Dell on Thursday announced that it has its vostro notebook line-up with three new models, including the 13.3-inch vostro 1320, the 15.4-inch vostro 1520 and 17-inch vostro 1720, the immediately available. Dell has equipped with additional security measures, including the optional shockproof Solid-state drives, fingerprint readers, and encrypted hard disks with Wave Systems software. All Share Standard 80 GB hard drives and six-cell battery, and integrated Wi-Fi capabilities. Computing power comes via Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz chips.Dell research shows small business employees receive less business travel this year, and saw there was the possibility of video conferencing hardware and software for the vostro notebooks as an alternative. Intel 4500MHD integrated graphics processor is available in all standard fare, it is an 8x DVD burner. Integrated 1 GB of RAM, 2 GB and 4 GB, with Windows Vista Basic, Business or Ultimate 64-bit, in Basic, productivity and Ultimate TRIMs, or that any new vostro is offered, with the exception of 1520, the 2 GB of RAM is also used in the basic level of equipment.

Europe, Middle East and Africa, the notebooks at the 7th April, with some Asian countries following in May.

OCZ Neutrino Netbook

OCZ Neutrino Netbook
OCZ Technology exhibits at CeBit its first Netbook, the neutrino, which within nine weeks. Two versions are available, the DIY model that consumers order their own RAM and hard drive and the OCZ preconfigured version, which is supported by an Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor, up to 2 GB of memory, 250 GB SSD OCZ.

The neutrino has a 10.1-inch 1024 600 LCD display, WiFi, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and Ethernet port. OCZ neutrino running Windows XP or Ubuntu Linux.
