LG Announces LG-X120 3G Netbook

LG is back with her new stylish Netbook, the LG X120 with 3G HSPA connectivity for easy access anytime and anywhere.

The system comes packed with a 160 GB hard drive, smart-on five-second interface, and smart-link technology that allows connection to computer via a USB cable to share files or new applications to install, easy to access on data from the computer CD or DVD drive. Other features include a 1.3-megapixel camera, Intel Atom processor and 1 GB of RAM. LG X120 meets the European market in March for yet unannounced price.

Lenovo First to Pack Nvidia Ion HD Graphics Into Netbooks

Lenovo is one of the first PC manufacturer to the NVIDIA-ion in a Netbook platform, the Taiwan Commercial Times paper claims. The PC manufacturer is reportedly calling for Wistron local contractor for the construction of 11.6-and 12.1-inch IdeaPads for the source, would be much faster, GeForce 9400M graphics level of ions with an Intel Atom processor. The company is also said M ling a 13-inch model with the same technology. A 12-inch system, based on VIA’s Nano platform is also an option, after the alleged leak.

The message indicates that the Desktop, the NVIDIA as the first ion is quickly followed by a Netbook and PC manufacturers may be better Microsoft’s own expectations, which are Windows-based systems with ions, until the summer.

Sony adds InstantON OS to its Vaio P

One of the biggest problems with notebook computers is always power. While laptop components get more and more advanced operating systems are demanding. Computer manufacturers have tried, such as alternative operating systems.

Since most people will probably have a computer with a complete operating system, it is now common to see two different operating systems on a PC.

Sony has just announced its Vaio P (the not-a-Netbook) will now be using Corel instanton. Instanton is a stripped down operating system that allows you access to your computer to boot without a full operating system like Windows. ; The operating system is for Sony and then allows the user to do basic tasks like Web browsing and playback of media such as music and audio. The Vaio P is still using Windows, if you still want to do more complex tasks.
