HP spurns Linux for UK netbooks

Looks like someone in the hope of the United Kingdom to buy a new HP Netbook with Linux will be bitterly disappointed. For reasons unspecified, the company decided not to offer the Mini 1000 or 2140 with a mini-pre-installation of Linux – default options for the U.S. versions of both. Current UK HP Linux offerings include the 2133, but it is an older model so that the absence of the newer models based on a trend under way. HP seems to be its Ubuntu-based Mobile Internet Experience as a download, so all hope is not dead. Well, you can not always get what you want, can you?
