HP Pavilion dv3 brings together portability and usability

The new pavilion dv2 series from HP is nice, but what about those of us who just want a little more space on the screen and power? HP has not forgotten about us, and announced its Pavilion series dv3 beside them. While the dv2s a 12.1 “display and no optical drive that dv3 comes with 13.3″ LED lights up the screen and a DVD Super Multi drive. Ideal for people who do not want extra accessories with them to use disc media, all in a good-looking (if a bit too bronze for some tastes) package.
The dv3 is more for the use around the mobility as a specific dv2. It has a wide selection of processor options, all of AMD from a 2.0 GHz dual-core Athlon to a 2.4-GHz dual-core Turion. The RAM is bumped up to up to 8 GB for a better performance. There’s even a fingerprint reader in your hand for easy and secure password protection.
There are three USB ports along the sides, the third is an eSATA combo, some external hard drives more quickly, ideal for those of us who have a ton of data on externals, to save space. As for the dv2, there is an HDMI port in the dv3 for easy connection to an HDTV.
The dv2 seems like a great all-around computers for students who do not want Macs, or other persons who may need a laptop. It is easy with most games at the moment, and should work with most other tasks are not easy. And there’s even a backlit keyboard for those of us who spend hours entering the night away in dark rooms.
