Apple shifts more notebooks than desktopsAccording to statistics deep into Apple’s holiday sales figures last quarter of notebook MacBook Air and MacBook Pro lines over seventy percent of sales, the Macintosh is a first. Apple notebook sales to a larger portion of the Apple-mix and the growth of more than sales cannibalization of Apple desktop market.

In the October-December from 08 Apple Desktop moved 728,000 units, a decrease compared to Q1 of 08, but Apple’s Macbook sales records were destroyed, as Apple sold 1.8 million MacBooks in the same quarter.

These figures show that Apple’s Macbook line, the quarterly figures of 06, which means that Apple has shifted more than MacBooks Mac Pro. But desktop computers are still just as important in the market for Apple.
