Netbooks is what all until today. Because they are more and more, it becomes more and more clear that netbooks are very different from laptops, and should be treated differently. It is the sense that the small screen, keyboard, poor performance all together, have a slightly different software, and sometimes maybe a completely different interfaces. Or, probably Netbook users need is a new operating system, easy and user-friendly. Tariq Krim, Netvibes founder, is also one of many who are not satisfied with what his OS Netbook runs, so here it is with an operating system based on good Netbook user needs. It is Jolicloud and Tariq Krim says he will realesing beta version of the law soon.
Since Tariq Krim Netvibes has left, I understand what he had some time to find out what exactly will be the operating system what it is and what is off. As it is not too much RAM in netbooks to play with, Jolicloud are on a memory diet, not to occupy too much of it. Currently support most of the netbooks are equipped with Windows XP, which can easily be a bit of unticking unnecessary services and startup items in the System Configuration menu, but that is not a crucial recipe. Tariq Krim suggested a Linux-based operating system to more usable space on cheap hardware. Interface is also an issue. On Jolicloud there will be a bit like the iPhone, one could observe. Icons are similar to the iPhone, because Netbook on a small display, they are better seen. It will also play a role, because Jolicloud is a touch-screen support for the platform. Once again, Jolicloud is not even in beta version, and if there as quickly as possible, Tariq Krim is not hurrying to the juicy details about Jolicloud, he says, only to wait bis’09.
